How Capitalism Saved The Pilgrims
Is there anything else I should do?
For whatever reason, this course tends to attract overachievers. If the summer assignment packet doesn't sufficiently scratch your US History itch during the summer, here are a few useful things to study.
1. Learn all the Presidents in order.
There are many songs and ways to learn this information; I like these because they give [helpful] information about each president in addition to order and names. However, the best strategy is the one that helps you remember the presidents.
2. Be able to label all the states on a map.
Locate The States game (it's primitive but effective)
3. Know all the states and capitals.
There are hundreds of ways to learn and practice this information. Here are two. The first is a little more country; the second is certainly more rock n' roll.
Okay. I know all the presidents, states, and capitals--and it's June. What else you got? Maybe some extra credit?
Yes. Here's an extra credit assignment that can be completed once a trimester.
I can't believe you've scrolled this far down. Go outside. It's summer.
APUSH has a strong culture online. It is one of the most taken AP courses and exams in the country. I find entertaining items all over the place and will post them here periodically.
